Her future seemed bright, she seemed bright. Bright, cheerful - she always knew how to make you feel better. Nobody would ever imagine the inner turmoil she contended with on a constant basis. Always on her mind, eating away at her like a vicious parasite. Eventually the burden became too much for her, and her dreams were torn away like a curious, ignorant child pulling the wings off a butterfly. Some days she felt moments of happiness, but the desire for death was a constant and gnawing pain - she couldn’t drive without constantly thinking of purposely wrecking her car and dying in some gruesome crash. Some days the pain got to be too much. Today is one of those days.
